SARS Database allegedly hacked after given Nigeria 72 hours to #EndPoliceBrutality by Anonymous

A website hacker generally referred to as anonymous has allegedly broken into the Nigeria Police Force’s Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS database and released information of the officers in the now disbanded unit.

Around 371 names of SARS officers in Nigeria were released by the hacker.

Following extrajudicial actions and killings by its officers, the police unit was criticised in the region.

Some screenshots of the information released by the hacker were posted by a Twitter user identified as @von bismack

@von_bismack had earlier shared an audio of Anonymous giving the Nigerian Government 72 hours to listen to the demand of the peaceful protesters.

The amount of information hacked by Anonymous is yet to be known as Nigerians are waiting for more secret information about the government to be made public.
